CAPITAL WRITERS' PROGRAM

Selected writers will learn to discover and refine their own voices as they explore the writing process with their peers and our experienced instructors, many of whom are are published authors.

Students with a demonstrated interest in writing will receive close attention from mentors who will guide them with well-earned praise and constructive criticism and take their work seriously.  When ready, we will help to identify markets to which a writer's best work can be submitted.

Most importantly, students in The Capital Writers' Program work together, creating a valuable network of support within their own peer group.

Admission to The Capital Writers' Program is competitive.

*All Programs through The Writing Center require a membership.   Some programs may require the purchase of books, materials or other supplies.
